If sharara’s are anything, its vintage and celebrities just can’t seem to get enough of them! From the gorgeous sharara worn by Kareena in “bolay chudiyan” to Deepika’s vibrant red one in “Dilliwali girlfriend” we love them all and apparently so do the celebrities! Each passing wedding, award ceremony or any given event brings forth new designs of this style staples. Some designers have even introduced slight variations to the typical sharara silhouette by adding minor touches of their own to them such as side slits and other changes. But nevertheless, the basic theme and the essence of it remains untampered.
We would pick sharara’s over gharara’s any day because let’s face it, we love how they give off mixed vibes! They are the perfect blend of contemporary and classical ensembles. However, if you’re a staunch traditionalist then you can take inspiration from Alia Bhatt’s elegant white sharara in Kalank which had us all swooning! Pakistani celebrities too are occasionally spotted in the traditional attire and over the years, celebrities such as Mahirah Khan and Aiman Khan have all been seen donning sharara’s time and again!
