Since the one-dish rule in Lahore at weddings, we Lahoris, the people who love food more than anything else, haven’t been able to fill our tummies with the most delicious dishes. All we get is the usual chicken korma, rice, naan or some other alternate dish, but that doesn’t count because there is no variety that makes it enjoyable! If you look at Karachi weddings, they have no limits to when it comes to presenting dishes. The hosts are allowed to include as many dishes as they want, the entire buffet to be exact. Now, isn’t that entertaining and fulfilling! We are definitely not objecting to the actual reason behind the one-dish action but we are allowed to live in our fantasy world of wedding food, because in that world, there is a whole lot variety of dishes for us to enjoy. we have compiled a number of dishes that we would like to include in our wedding menu if Lahore wasn’t under the one dish zone.
By the time you reach the end, we know you are definitely drooling because we are! All these dishes in one venue would be a dream come true for all us foodies, right? But despite our wishes, we respect the one-dish limitation as it is rightly placed, but hey people, do experiment in that one dish zone too!
