Imran Ashraf’s 3 TV Serials In Which He Was THE Ideal Partner #Goals!

Our beloved “bhola,” the person who stole the show with his acting in Ranjha Ranjha kardi is known for his versatility. He is extremely talented and he knows how to bring a character to life onscreen with his “lit” performances! He is also known for stepping out of his comfort zone and accepting roles that are unconventional and aren’t exactly your typical Pakistani drama serial protagonist. The way he wholeheartedly immerses in his roles and delivers his punchlines is what makes him such a gifted actor.

Time and again he has been showered with praises by his peers and admirers in the industry too! Actors like Humayun Saeed, Mahira Khan, Ahad Raza Mir, Marwa Hocane, Mikaal Zulfiqar and many more have commended him on his brilliant acting skills and we have to say Imran Ashraf is an asset to this entertainment industry! Some have even gone so far as to say that he has set a whole new level of acting in the industry and that he is literally the BEST actor we have! This isn’t the only role that we admired his acting in. Over the span of his career he has also given some other soulful performances that stole out hearts. 1. Alif Allah Aur Insaan

 

Representing the transgender community with his character Shammo in this show, Imran took a leap and delved into this complex role. The transgender community has always faced discrimination in our society. Not only do people discriminate against them but they also refrain from getting into relationships with them. Although there are 3 parallel story-lines in the show, the success story of Shammo is what stands out the most. After being rejected by Rani (his love interest) for being a transgender, Shammo vows to turn his life around. He forsakes the transgender community and gives up on their way of life and becomes a renowned makeup artist. Meanwhile, Rani tires of her life of extreme destitution and runs away from home to embrace the fascinating life of a brothel. But little did she know that all that glitters is not gold! The compassionate Shammo (Imran Ashraf) then comes to Rani’s rescue! His love for her is unconditional and remains unaltered by their circumstances! Now, isn’t that beautiful?

2. Dil Mom Ka Diya

 

This is the second highest rated TV show in the history of Pakistan. Just like he shined in the rest of his shows, Imran Ashraf stole our hearts in this TV serial too! In this Humayun Saeed and Shehzad Nasib production, Imran Ashraf played the role of Azhar. A young man hopelessly in love with a girl named Tamkinat (Hira Mani). Their marriage is gravely opposed by Azhar’s family. Particularly his antagonistic bhabhi played by Neelum Munir. This is a story of how Azhar stands up to his diabolical bhabhi and marries the girl of his dreams. Filled with evil schemes and wicked games, this is a beautiful depiction of men who stand against all odds and put a ring on your finger to make things official ladies! And that’s why we just wish that there were more men like Imran Ashraf’s character Azhar or even like the actor (how he is in real life – as he happens to be an amazing loving and caring husband and a father) in the world!

3. Dillagi

 

Even though the main role was played by Humayun Saeed in this show and Imran Ashraf was a side character. He did complete justice to Dastageer (his character) and didn’t get overshadowed by Humayun Saeed in the least bit.  Imran Ashraf plays the kind-hearted, loyal and a happy-go-lucky character in the show who is always there for his friends no matter what. He falls in love with Mehwish Hayat’s younger sister and tries to win her heart with everything possible. From agreeing to getting a degree to changing his lifestyle – he does it all and with pure intentions and consistency he does end up getting the girl of her dreams! And that’s why we want a guy like Dastageer because we know if anything he would make the perfect partner!

Try not to fall in love with Imran Ashraf after seeing these TV shows because ladies, he is a happily married man and has an adorable son too! One thing is for certain and we repeat, he is an asset to our film industry and his versatility knows no bounds!
