The ‘Camp: Notes on Fashion’ Fashion theme of Met Gala 2019 inspired a lot of electric looks that went viral as the celebrities stepped on the pink carpet. The theme of this Met was to push one’s fashion boundaries to go all out, which gave a lot of room for attendees to experiment with their looks. And folks they experimented alright! From Billy Porter’s Egyptian Emperor-isque extravaganza to Lady Gaga’s descend into shorter, tighter outfits. By now you must have seen the best of fashion showcased on the stairs of the Met Gala 2019, we are here to talk about the frosting though.

The jewels that glittered on our favorite stars can inspire many brides about what pairings should they wear for their big day. There were enough diamonds, pearls, crystals, rhinestones, feathers and precious metals on the Met’s carpet to put Queen Elizabeth’s coffers to shame. You need to get a closer look to get the inspiration for your upcoming wedding. Let’s tell you one thing though; colored stones might be visible here and then, but diamonds are forever. Lady Gaga

The singer and actress, worn an estimated $2 million worth of jewelry from Tiffany & Co. She was wearing an 18-carat yellow gold butterfly necklace with diamonds from Tiffany’s Blue Book Collection. She also donned on diamond earrings and some staggeringly gorgeous rings.

Bella Hadid

Bella Hadid was sparkling in Moschino’s pieces. In order to complement her glitzy glove, she donned on Lorraine Schwartz earrings with 90 carats of Colombian emeralds and diamonds. A 40 carat emerald ring was also sitting on her gloved finger.

Jennifer Lopez

J-Lo was no Jenny from the block on the pink carpet of Met 2019. She wore a Harry Winston Purple Dragon necklace with 129.48-carat purple sapphires and diamonds. Not to mention her vintage diamond chandelier earrings, Secret Cluster diamond bracelets, a cushion cut diamond right and a Sunflower diamond ring.

Lily Collins

Lily Collins debuted Cartier’s Magnitude High Jewelry Necklace that incorporated emeralds, rock crystals, onyx, black lacquer, and diamonds in a platinum setting. She also wore Magnitude High Jewelry earrings and a Pluie de Cartier ring. Her Instagram caption read that her whole look was inspired by the jewels she was wearing.

Lupita Nyong’o

Lupita Nyong’o was glittering in a heritage emerald and amethyst collar necklace from Bulgari.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas

Mrs. Nick Jonas wore pink sapphire and diamond earrings, bracelets and necklaces by her favored jeweler Chopard.

Emily Blunt

Emily Blunt appeared in diamond and gold earrings by Messika on the Met Gala’s pink carpet.

Naomi Campbell

Naomi Campbell wore quite a few of the vintage Bulgari diamond and gemstone bracelets.

Model Hailey Bieber made a show-stopping entrance wearing three pairs of Bulgari diamond studs in ascending motifs.

The Vampire Diaries starlet Nina Dobrev showed up in Harry Winston diamond chandelier earrings and cluster diamond rings.

Bohemian Rhapsody Actress Lucy Boynton was wearing Harry Winston cluster diamond Earrings and 4 Forget-Me-Not sapphire and diamond rings.

Celine Dion

Celine Dion turned up a new leaf, as she wore Art Deco diamond Briolette pendant earrings in a platinum setting. She was also wearing one antique rose-cut diamond cluster ring and another 18th Century rose cut diamond button ring.

Lili Reinhart

Riverdale’s golden girl actress Lili Reinhart wore an amethyst cross pendant necklace from the 19th century. She was also wearing a Georgian rose-cut diamond cluster necklace, circa 1830, signed Fred Leighton Colette set diamond stud earrings. Not to mention a Victorian pink topaz and old mine diamond cluster ring.

Mindy Kaling

Actress Mindy Kaling wore pieces from David Webb that included the oval cut, yellow sapphire, cabochon emeralds, hammered 18k gold brilliant cut diamonds, and platinum.

Serena Williams

Serena Williams was wearing jewels from De Grisogono. Both the earrings and the rings were from the brand’s High Jewelry Collection. Her two rings from the Melody of Colors Collection.

Taylor Hill

Taylor wore the same Butani diamond necklace for the Met Gala that Ariana Grande was supposed to wear at the Grammys 2019 (she still wore it but skipped the music awards). She paired it with diamond earring and Yvan Tufenkjian diamond rings.

Deepika Padukone

Bollywood diva Deepika wore Lorraine Schwartz pink sapphire and diamond jewelry pieces to match her Barbie inspired the look.
