Super Model Iman Aly Got Married & Here Is How the Ceremony Went Down

Few models in Pakistan have reigned as long, and as successfully as Iman Aly, the daughter of veteran actor Abid Ali. A year after they first met, Iman Aly tied the knot with Babar Aziz Bhatti in a traditional ceremony. Iman Aly has been ruling the ramps and printed magazines ever since she made her debut, and got recognized for her acting skills in movies like BOL, and Khuda Kay Liye.

The groom, Babar Bhatti, is a businessman who were introduced by the model as her fiancé in January, and announced her impending nuptials. The groom-to-be is a grandson of Pakistan’s decorated war hero Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed.

The hashtag #baiman was trending on the social media when the festivities began with the dholki. Iman wore a plain teal dress and looked beautiful on the night of her dholki, which was attended by many of her industry friends, including Feroz Khan, Urwa Hocane, Farhan Saeed, Alizeh Gabol, Sarwat Gillani, and more. QYT events planned the wedding and according to the pretty bride, Qasim Yar Tiwana was her savior. Iman Ali’s all bridal dresses were from the Mehdi couture, as the designer is her long best friend. For her makeup she chose Ather Shehzed, who is another old bestie.

Apparently, the supermodel has made some very good friends who acted more as a family for on her special day. The genuine affection of the close-knitted group was evident in all the pictures that went viral on the Instagram.

For her mayun, Iman again kept it simple and traditional in a yellow kurta shalwar with floral jewelry. She also veiled her face for the ceremony, and it was a pretty happy event with a familiar cozy ambiance, as you can see in the pictures.

Her shadi was a bit livelier, with lots of fun performances. Iman Aly looked radiant in a bright mustard lehenga, designed by her Mehdi, which she had paired with golden and green bangles and a choker necklace. She was also seen wearing a yellow anarkali dress, and the way it twirled around her… *sigh*.

The celebrity guests including Farhan Saeed, Urwa Hocane and Alizeh Gabol, took their turns on the dance floor, while Ali Xeeshan, Sarwat Gillani, Umair Jaswal were also seen breaking a few moves. Other guests included HSY, Nilofer Shahid, Ali Zafar, Ayesha Zafar, Qasim Ali Mureed, Iffat Rahim, Uzma Khan, and Munib Nawaz.

For her reception Iman chose an off white sharara, which she paired with a red, and then a maroon second shawl. She was also seeing wearing contrast emerald green jewels which gave the perfect royalty look that she has always known to rock like a pro.

Lastly, we appreciate that a super model who is known for her glamorous life, chose to opt for a simple wedding that include the people she loved. It wasn’t a low-key event, people were dancing and having fun, but it was a private event.
