Watermelon is a delicious fruit that is much awaited and instantaneously refreshes you, same goes for your body. Now, this may come as a surprise but watermelon flushes out toxins, from the body, be it your digestive system or your face. It’s been known to keep the skin hydrated and moisturized. Watermelon helps to shrink body tissues, boost radiance, prevents anti-aging and refine pores. Now how would you go about doing these things, let’s get started.

If you have a dry skin, the lemon in this mask will exfoliate your dead cells and remove them and the watermelon juice will hydrate your skin in return. All you need is 2-3 tablespoons of watermelon juice, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of yogurt and 1 tablespoon of honey. Mix the ingredients and form a paste, let sit for 15 to 20 minutes and rinse off.

Do you have dull skin and worried it’ll keep getting duller? Using products to make it less dull? Well try this mask, it is prone to brighten up your skin without the added harsh chemicals. All you need is 2-3 tablespoons of watermelon juice and 1 tablespoon of yogurt. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, massage and apply. Leave on for 20 to 25 minutes and rinse it clean.

Sun exposure makes our skin create melanin, which makes us look dark and tanned. This mask will brighten your skin and remove tan in a jiffy. All you need is 1 tablespoon of watermelon juice and 2 tablespoons of honey. Mix the ingredients in a bowl and apply it to a clean face, massage and let sit for about 20 to 25 minutes. Then wash it off and see the results yourself!

Bananas are known for being a great source of potassium. Watermelon and banana together control oil production and control it from oozing out from the pores. All you need is 3-4 tablespoons of watermelon juice, ½ banana mashed and 2-3 drops of tea tree oil. Mix it up in a paste and apply, leave it on for 15 minutes and wash it off.
