December is the month of wedding festivities and we are already sensing love in the air. With wedding events intensifying on both sides of the border, our very own celebrity couple Muneeb Butt and Aiman khan have been reigning the headlines with their weeks-long wedding gaieties. We are just in love with their lavish celebrations as pictures are making the rounds on the social media.
For the love of wedding fashion, we are going to share her wedding looks for all the brides to be to get some inspirations.
Aiman looked divine in the Erum khan Couture satin dress for her bridal shower. The lustrous gown with a flowy tail was complemented with a soft makeup look and loose curls. The decor theme for the bridal shower followed white, gold and violet colors, probably keeping Pantone Color of the Year 2018 ‘Ultra Violet’ in mind. The look and feel of the event was kept soft with cute candles and violet cupcakes.
She chose to wear white churidar with a white shirt for her dholki to keep it minimal yet traditional. An orange dupatta loaded with golden sequins and bordered with kirin lace completed the look. The color combination of the décor was perfectly in coordination with her dress. The jhumkas and mang tikka served as the cherry on the top.
The couple tied the knot in an intimate Nikkah ceremony. Aiman opted for a fawn heavily embellished gown designed by Erum Khan and paired with a red dupatta. While the entire jewelry looked heavenly, we had eyes, particularly for her intricate and very traditional hath phool. The groom wore beautifully designed off-white sherwani adding the royal factor to his complete look.
The festivities had just got started after the Nikkah ceremony. “Let’s be filmy” themed wedding party was hosted by the couple filled with colors and glamour. The event was star-studded with a massive number of celebrities sharing their happiness. Aiman opted for embellished Ali Xeeshan studio saree on her filmy night and Muneeb Butt wore Humayun Alamgir.
Aiman knew well how to enhance her natural beauty in a yellow Erum khan Couture traditional gharara. The flare with the golden embroidery and kirin lace on the dupatta gave exuded an old-world charm that we all loved. She paired her attire with soft and natural makeup that enhanced her features.
Although, Aiman went for an unconventional color for her mehendi but she paired up the white choli with a lehenga drenched in a whirlwind of colors. We swooned hard over the dress that Aiman chose for her mehendi. Going for an unconventional color; white, Aiman filled in We love the fine details on the lehenga paired with white choli. The blue sherwani designed by Nomi Ansari was the perfect pick by Muneeb for the event.
Erum Khan did a wonderful job with Aiman’s Barat dress. The red lehenga drenched in gold embellishments was a true embodiment of royalty. The intricate tilla, dabka and zardozi work brought out the bridal glow in Aimen. Muneeb opted for a sherwani by HSY. The couple looked nothing less than royalty on their wedding.
The walima look has to be our most favorite from all the wedding looks. The massive tail on the blush pink lehenga was to die for. All the details on her dress, jewelry and makeup were flawless. We fell in love with the muted reception décor as well.
One of these looks, if not all, is bound to inspire the brides to be among you. Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
