Have you ever seen a wedding advert that was so saccharine that it tugged at your heartstrings or maybe even made you want to tie the knot? Some shadi television commercials do absolute justice to our weddings and remind us of all the fun and festivities brought on by desi weddings. The merriment, the dance practices, the finger-licking mithais and the fun-filled traditional Mehendi ceremonies! A wedding is filled with joy! From all the father of the bride moments with his daughter before he gives her away to someone else – these TVCs have it all covered!
I’m sure that we’ve all seen a sentimental wedding ad at least once in our lifetime and it secretly made us want to get hitched too! Or at least made us want to be pampered like those brides in all these TVCs! Some of us take inspiration from the dance practices shown in them and all of a sudden we want our siblings and our best friends to get married so that we can show off our moves on their Mehendi and have an entertaining dance-off with the groom’s family!
