They say all you need is faith and trust and a little pixie dust, the rest sorts itself out. Sarah Khan’s wedding seems like one big dreamlike party. We’ve seen the pictures and the videos, they are so in love with each other, it is heartwarming Ma Sha Allah. Nobody saw it coming but here they are Mr. and Mrs. Falak (according to the name change on Sarah’s Instagram account).
They met at the 2019 Hum TV Bridal Couture Week where Sarah Khan was a showstopper for Nilofer Shahid. Their second meeting happened a dinner. And which towards the end, Falak had revealed how he wanted to do a nikkah, there and then. We all know how shy Sarah is so she asked Falak to go and ask her father for her hand in marriage and do it in the rightly traditional and an old school manner. Falak went to meet her father and the rest as they say is history.
Six months down the road and without giving a whiff to anyone especially the paparazzi, the couple decided how to go about it. The next thing you and we included know is it is Sarah’s birthday and Falak is proposing, serenading, fireworks, getting down on one knee. And of course, Sarah accepting the proposal! The smiles and the never-ending glances have taken social media by storm. She cannot stop smiling as she looks up at him and whatever he says makes her burst out laughing, isn’t it awwdorable? A match made in heaven, right? We think so too. With about 30 to 40 people and a quarantine event, the couple made it official.

Sarah Khan is a ray of sunshine and her million-dollar smile is what always steals the show. On her mayon she chose a simple yet chic Farah and Fatima yellow ensemble. With just marigold bracelets and nothing else she looked perfectly elegant. Sarah was complimenting everything all around her, such was the radiance. It was all about cozying up to her beau and enjoying their night to the fullest. The best part was that all the events were planned by Sarah’s sister Noor and we were all in awe.

Nilofer Shahid has outdone herself for Sarah’s mehndi. She congratulated her “muse” on forever staying happy and blessed. She chose Imran Aslam as her makeup artist for her engagement and her mehndi. The traditional orange on Sarah’s nikkah definitely set the small intimate function ablaze with oohhs and aahhs. The subtle yellow on her mehndi complemented her personality and with jewelry from Hamna Amir’s, (oh those gorgeous earrings and that maala; pure love) she simply looked stunning!

The beautiful nikkah jora was designed by none other than the maestro Nilofer Shahid again and the breathtaking jewels were by Hamna Amir. Sarah looked picture perfect beautiful a diva indeed. The bridal dress and the accessories left everyone spellbound. The other thing which left everyone talking about was Sarah’s eyes were ablaze with love as Falak cupped her face in his hands during the event and all we saw was pure unfiltered love pouring out! The expressions on their faces made everything else secondary. It’s always said that the focus of the crowd should be on the bride. This time all eyes were on Sarah because she stunned everyone in that lovely Nilofer Shahid’s pink sharara, her overall bridal being traditional at best! And lastly, those jewels by Hamna Amir – we still can’t get over them!
