The national heartthrob Hamza Ali Abbasi and the Aana star Naimal Khawar Khan just got Nikahfied yesterday on 25th August 2019 and are officially the new “IT” couple of the town! The two are setting examples for the rest of us in the most beautiful way possible be it by having a small Nikah ceremony or merely by keeping things simple and “halal.” The ceremony was purposefully kept intimate and only close family members and friends of the couple were invited!
In case you’re wondering how these two got together in the first place then here are the sizzling details! Hamza Ali Abbasi announced his engagement to Naimal in a Facebook post a few days ago claiming that they were just friends and the nature of their relationship was undoubtedly platonic. After remaining friends for two years, he decided to ask her to marry him and obviously she said yes! – (well, who wouldn’t?). The Pyarey Afzal star recently stated that, “We can’t breathe without each other now.” And had us all swoon! Now, this isn’t our usual romance filled love story but it is undeniably beautiful in its own way!
The Parwaz Hai Junoon star also received backlash over this post and was criticized by bloggers and TV stars alike for condemning premarital romantic relationships. But after his Nikah, he seemed to somehow have stood up to his word by having a simple Nikah ceremony and earned major respect from his countrymen! Kudos to Hamza for being a gentleman through and through!

Instead of choosing a 5-star venue for his Nikah or having an over the top destination wedding Hamza and Naimal decided to get married here in Islamabad at Monal in the heart of the mountains! Only close friends and family members were in attendance as the couple said “qubool hai” and signed their nuptials. It was a daytime ceremony and everything from the subtle white décor to the slightly breezy weather was perfect!

The bride got married not in a signature couture ensemble but in her mother’s wedding dress! This gorgeous dress was revamped for her by the Islamabad based designer Maheen Shah. Maheen preserved the sentimental value of the dress by leaving the lehenga and the dupatta untouched. She paired the existing lehenga and dupatta with one of her own kamdaani kameez (shirt). The shirt had an intricate gota and silma work on the front and the back daman, the sleeves and also the neckline.
Maheen introduced a second less embellished dupatta to the ensemble as the “ghoongat.” As finishing touches, Maheen added her signature lace, along with lappa and taamba kiran to this organza dupatta. We can’t help but marvel at this spectacle of the old world charm!

Hamza Ali Abbasi looked dapper in a white waist coat and shalwar kameez and black Ray-Ban shades!
Naimal is blessed with a natural glow and rosy cheeks. She chose to accentuate her features by keeping her Nikah look simple and makeup free. She opted for a coral pout, flushed cheeks and went with a hint of nude eyeshadow and little bit of mascara, which made her look like an absolute timeless beauty!
As for her jewelry, Naimal wore red rose gajras and her mother’s gold and pearl jewelry with her gorgeous gold ensemble!

Hamza being the gentleman that he is, rushed to welcome his bride as soon as she entered the venue after signing the Nikah papers! And the two held hands throughout the entire function and were seen taking selfies and giggling and laughing – now, that’s a companionship we all want, don’t we?

Little did Naimal know that a surprise was waiting for her at her Nikah. Recently Hamza Ali Abbasi went to perform Hajj and consequently he had to attend his Nikah with a bald head. According to him Naimal had seen him like this for the first time and he commended his bride for taking this shock so well! The couple is scheduled to hold their reception today (26th August 2019) and we can’t help but feel happy for them! We wish them good luck for their life together and hope that their future is filled with love and prosperity!
