So, thanks to the COVID-19, there is a lot of self-love circulating the social media circles. All day every day, people are trying to keep themselves busy while doing one thing or another. You will see a lot of cooking and beautifying videos and tons of DIY’s. While you’re at it, here are some to keep you busy. Beautiful skin requires organic ingredients readily available to us. From fruit masks to herbal, you name it, its accessible. To those looking to look good during their lockdown period, we’ve got you covered. Don’t believe in any measurements when making beauty masks, just form a pasty consistency and you are good to go. Thickening agent such as rice flour or an aloe gel can make it stick to your face.

Below are some tried and tested easy DIY turmeric masks for a gorgeous and a glowing skin. All you need is:
1. Turmeric with 3 tablespoon warm water and 1 tablespoon honey for acne and antibacterial concerns.
2. Turmeric with 2 tablespoon yogurt and 1 tablespoon lemon juice for hyper pigmentation and wrinkles, extra brightening and nourishment.
3. Turmeric with 2 tablespoon aloe vera gel for irritation and naturally soothing effect.
4. Turmeric with 3 tablespoon water for antioxidant power (you may use rice flour or almond flour to make it thicker).

No matter which DIY mask recipe you choose, leave the mask on for about ten minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and follow up with desired toner, serum or moisturizer. Apply the masks thrice in a week for the desired results.
Note: Turmeric tends to stain, especially if you have lighter skin you should be careful. If it does leave a yellowish tinge then wash your face with milk once or twice and it should go away.

Since these masks are all organic and natural, it takes time for the results to be seen. Give it two to three weeks before they show any result!
