Classic Caesar Salad Recipe For Brides Who Are On A Diet!

Ladies if you’re trying to drop some pounds and eat healthy then there’s nothing more convenient than throwing a last minute Caesar salad together! The ingredients are super simple. You can even hit the nearest grocery store and grab them. Caesar salads are not only a great source of nutrients, but they are delicious too. They make you feel fuller and completely satiated for a while. If you’re eating a Caesar salad as a starter, then it will suppress your appetite and you will only eat a small portion of the main course. Here is everything you’ll need to whip up a quick, healthy Caesar salad within minutes!



Here’s everything that you need to make a Caesar salad!


  • 2 Cups of Croutons
  • 2 heads romaine lettuce/iceberg lettuce
  • Caesar Salad Dressing
  • 1/4th cup of grates parmesan

For The Dressing

Here’s everything you’ll need to dress the salad!

  • 1 ½ tablespoon of lemon Juice
  • 2 medium cloves of garlic cut into halves
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Some salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 anchovies
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard
  • 2 eggs

Availability Of Ingredients

Most of these ingredients including canned anchovies are easily available in grocery stores such as Al-Fatah, Jalal Sons and even HKB. The croutons too can be made at home very easily or purchased at your nearest grocery store.


Homemade Croutons

You can easily make croutons at home. But we suggest that instead of frying them you stick to a more unconventional yet healthier method. Pop them in the oven and bake them till they turn the right color! Mix some melted butter, olive oil, crushed garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl. Cut some bread into even cubes and put them in a bowl and mix them up. Bake them till they turn crispy and golden.

Follow these simple steps and enjoy your Caesar salad!


  1. Wash and pat dry your lettuce leaves with the help of paper towels. Refrigerate them for future use.
  2. Soak the anchovies in water for 5 minutes. Pat them dry and mash them will you form a paste. Set this paste aside for now.
  3. Bring a pan of water to a boil. Make two pin sized holes in two eggs and boil them for about 75 seconds.
  4. Rub the garlic on the inside of your dressing bowl. Crack open the eggs into the bowl and scoop out the egg whites clinging to the inside of the egg shells.
  5. Add all the dressing ingredients into your whisked eggs and whisk the dressing until it emulsifies.
  6. Your dressing is ready and you can preserve it for later use by keeping it in an airtight and refrigerating it.


How To Serve The Salad

To serve the salad follow the steps below:

  1. Tear the lettuce leaves apart into smaller pieces.
  2. Add the croutons and the grated parmesan into your bowl. Drizzle the desired amount of dressing on top.
  3. Add some extra croutons and grated parmesan on top to garnish the salad and serve!
