Whenever there’s a movie that involves weddings, we know it’s going to bring us so many ideas for the next wedding season that we won’t know which one to follow and incorporate. When the trailer of ‘Veere di Wedding’ came out, it got every girl on her toes because it was based on one subject we all love; weddings! We would get to see gorgeous dresses, jewelry and new dance moves to perform at the next wedding. new trends would be set and everyone will get busy in following them for the next year at least. One trend that caught our attention was Sonam Kapoor’s dupatta necklace that took the internet by storm! In the final wedding scene, we saw Sonam wearing Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla’s beautiful lehnga that had a blouse made of pearls and tasseled dupatta.
The difference in this dupatta and the other dupattas was that the tassels were stitched along the borders as well as in the middle to make it look like a choker necklace. Creativity at its peak! Do you think this trend will catch on this wedding season?
